Sudhi Fronteiro Journey Through Dance, Creativity, and Life
I began my journey in the world of dance in 1988, embracing the art form as a performer. In 1992, I transitioned into choreography, marking my debut as a choreographer at the renowned Wilfy Nite. By 1994, my passion for teaching led me to open my own dance school, and this is where Ballerines was born—a name that would go on to define my life’s work. In 1995, I expanded my creative endeavors to include event decoration and DJing. By then, I had two thriving branches of my dance school. It was a fruitful period, and everything progressed wonderfully until 2001.
That same year, I moved to Kuwait and began teaching dance classes once again. In 2003, I joined the British School of Kuwait as a Production Engineer, where my responsibilities included managing and designing events for the school. Simultaneously, I became the Dance Director for KAST (Kuwait Acting & Speech Theatre).
In 2005, I introduced the concept of Ballerines Showcase, a platform to highlight our dance talent through grand performances. In 2006, I took it a step further by directing dance dramas, merging storytelling with dance, and paving the way for a new form of artistic expression.

- 2005, 22nd December – Maiden Venture
Sudhi Fronteiro first-ever event to mark our hallmark venture comprised spectacular dance performances with various themes and surprises. - 2006, 14th September – This is Life… the show must go on
A story of a young boy whose passion for dance captures the hearts of all and leads him to achieve his dreams. - 2007, 1st November – Illusion… from dark into the Light
A story about a king who embarks on a quest to capture the most powerful spirit in the jungle to become the ultimate ruler of the universe. - 2008, 31st October – India Day 2008
Co-organized India Day at Doha Entertainment City, Kuwait, with Nirvana Entertainment. This record-breaking event drew 14,000 attendees and featured Bollywood icons like Neha Kakkar, Panna Gill, and M.C. Vikram. - 2010, 26th November – Saptam… The Destiny
A play about seven friends pursuing their dreams and connecting their successes to a common destiny. - 2013, 4th January – Tentacles… One story Ten Moves
A dance drama about four friends searching for a dance-based story for their movie script writer friend. - 2015, 15th, 16th, and 17th April – The Pearl Fishers
An opera by French composer Georges Bizet. The story revolves around love, friendship, betrayal, and forgiveness, set in a community of fishermen.
Returning to My Roots
In 2016, Sudhi Fronteiro returned to his hometown, Mangalore, to expand Ballerines into new ventures, including:
